youth ministry leadership
EYC Board
Each year, the Diocese invites youth who are leaders in their own church communities to apply to the EYC Board. These leaders work to put on different convocation and diocesan events for other youth. To hear more from our 2020-2021 board about their role in our diocese, click here. If you are interested in being a part of the board, please take a look at the application form below.

Happening
If you are interested in Happening contact Youth and Young Adult Missioner Megan Dern, at mdern@diosova.org or 757-213-3393.

CE-NET
The Christian Education Network of Southern Virginia supports lay and ordained, professional and volunteer educators. We meet periodically for lunch to share resources and problem-solve, or for special programs with engaging speakers. For more information on CE-Net contact Lynn Farlin: lfarlin@diosova.org or 757-213-3377.

Chanco on the James Camp and Retreat Center
Chanco on the James is our diocesan retreat center and residential summer camping ministry. A number of our diocesan youth events take place at Chanco.

Chanco Chaplain Program
Each summer a number of dedicated visiting clergy partner with the summer Residential Chaplain to serve the Camp Chanco community. Visiting clergy commit to celebrating one Eucharist, while the Residential Chaplain stays on-site during the summer sessions to teach chaplain class, provide pastoral care, and lead morning devotions. If you are interested in being part of this important and rewarding ministry, contact Canon for Formation Lynn Farlin at lfarlin@diosova.org.
