133rd Annual Council (2025)

Annual Council is a pivotal forum where clergy and lay delegates convene to worship, learn, and vote on impactful matters shaping our diocese. This event, beyond its formalities, cultivates a friendly atmosphere for meaningful connections.

With a distinguished keynote speaker contributing insights, and various diocesan groups presenting reports and offering valuable updates on their activities, Annual Council blends meaningful discussions, camaraderie, and shared vision, making it a cherished event for our diocese.

Certificate of Lay Delegates & Alternates for 2024-2025

These certificates are due by September 1. Instructions and the certificate form can be found here. If the members of your church’s delegation change you must submit a new certificate to the diocesan office.

2023 Parochial Report

Reports were due by March 1, 2024. If your church has not yet submitted its 2023 Parochial Report, mail or email it to the Diocesan office as soon as possible. If your 2023 Parochial Report is not submitted your church’s delegates will not be allowed to vote at Annual Council  (Diocesan Canon XVIII, Section 2).

The Episcopal Diocese of Southern Virginia reserves the right to cancel any event. In the event of cancellation, registrants will receive a full refund. We also reserve the right to substitute event presenters and modify dates and programs.
