Clergy Compensation Manual & Guidelines

Each year, the Compensation Commission recommends a cost-of-living adjustment for clergy and lay employees and re-issues the Clergy Compensation Manual & Guidelines.  The compensation table reflects comparable pension-based total compensation amounts based on the size of the congregation, using pledge and plate revenues and average Sunday attendance from the Parochial Reports.

These are merely guidelines to be used by the vestry and clergy to determine compensation for the clergy.
